Treasures From Mexico

Beautiful Blouse From Mexico

Josh just got back from a week long trip to Mexico! He said it was one of his favorite places he's ever been to. He didn't forget about me on his trip - he came back with this lovely blouse and yards, and yards of beautiful fabric for me! I'm a lucky lady  :)

Can't wait to make some pretty things with all this lovely fabric! While Josh was gone I finished a flannel Grainline Studios Alder Shirtdress. I put some photos up on Instagram, but haven't taken proper photos yet. I'll have photos up on the blog this weekend :)

  1. These look so awesome! I can't decide which one I love more – the blouse or the fabric. Isn't it exciting how other countries have so much cooler patterned fabrics?

A friend of mine travels to Tanzania about once a year and it only dawned on me recently that I could ask her for a little fabric souvenir from her next trip. I saw scarves and skirts she bought there and they looked amazing.

Do you already have plans on what to make from these beauties?

  2. I bet the fabric in Tanzania is beautiful! You should totally ask for some :)

I want to make a maxi dress with the blue and orange fabric on the far right and a Colette Pattern's Wren out of the fabric second to the left! Not sure about the other fabric yet... so many possibilities!
